Acton has been without a cinema since the closure of the Acton Screen in 1989. However, a determined group of residents has advocated for the transformation of the Old Library building into a vibrant cinema. This has been made possible by a successful fundraising campaign supported by the Mayor of London’s Spacehive fund.

The Act One Cinema is now open and is a new community cinema for Acton!
